Intersection for the Arts is San Francisco’s oldest alternative non-profit art space (est. 1965) and has a long history of presenting experimental work in the fields of literature, theater, music and the visual arts, while nurturing cultural community through service, technical support, and mentorship programs.

San Francisco School of Digital Filmaking teaches the art of storytelling through a wide range of coursework in digital filmmaking, film acting, and screenwriting. sf | noir was founded out of a passion for artistic expression and a desire to help bring about a greater awareness of the contributions of African Americans and the African Diaspora to art and culture and to fill a void that has been continually expanding in San Francisco, whereby the visibility of African American “creatives” and the culture and communities they represent has been shrinking.

Best Buddies creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Volunteers become the “best buddy” to a person with IDD to provide friendship, mentoring, and life skills training.
