Kate Sofis

Kate is founding Executive Director of SFMade. Prior to SFMade, Kate worked in numerous capacities across the manufacturing sector, as COO of VIDA and the founder of CRAFTMAKE. She began her manufacturing career in computer manufacturing at Teradyne and later in Ernst and Young’s West Coast supply chain practice. Kate served as Statewide Director of Business Advising at San Francisco-based Pacific Community Ventures. She serves on the Board of Directors of City Carshare and as a Mayoral appointee to the Eastern Neighborhoods Citizens Advisory Committee.
