Details: What should I know to keep our tax exemption? – How can I best manage our paid professionals (attorneys and accountants) and our volunteer board of directors? – How do exempt orgs get into tax and regulatory trouble and how do we resolve problems?
The nonprofit/exempt organization sector is critical for our democracy. This session empowers the organization officers/employees and members board of directors by providing knowledge about legal and regulatory obligations (and resolving instances of failure to keep those obligations).
HUB Workbench helps changemakers develop the skills they need to succeed. Our teachers are activists, artists, and social entrepreneurs who envision a new kind of economy and a new definition of success in business. Our community will help you learn skills, build your project, and change the world.
